Description/Blazon

Sable, a demi-globe Azure gridlined Argent issuing from base, charged with a lightning bolt bendwise Or supporting a winged Bengal tiger bendwise sinister couchant to base of the fourth with Black and White markings, nose Gules, langued of the like, armed White.

Attached below the shield, a White scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "614TH SPACE OPERATIONS GROUP" in Blue letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The black background depicts space. The blue and white framed globe represents the scope of operations worldwide. The yellow thunderbolt represents command and control capabilities. The flying tiger is representative of the Fourteenth Air Force parent group from the Army Air Corps.
