Description/Blazon

On a disc Sable, between four pole stars in cross Gules, a bend Argent debruised by a lightning flash bendwise sinister Or, all within a narrow border Blue.

Attached above the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed "COMPANEROS EN SEGURIDAD" in Blue letters.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed "612TH SUPPORT SQ" in Blue letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The stars represent the celestial constellation of the Southern Cross. The lightning bolt indicates dedication, readiness and swiftness. The white bend through a black field is symbolic of the surveillance mission.
