Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The wings represent the flights that make up the Squadron. They flare outward reflecting the Squadron's reach in supporting the Group in providing medical care and outreach in the local community. They are anchored, symbolizing the commitment to the larger Air Force mission. The red cross designates the unit as a medical squadron. The sphere symbolizes the unit's dedication to the environment and never ending commitment to protect natural resources.
