On a disc Azure, a dragon throughout Gules, wings Sanguine and inverted, chest and shadows on leg and tail of the like grasping in the dexter hand a sword bendwise point down with pommel, grip and quillon Or; blade Argent (Silver Gray), in the sinister hand a shield of the last bearing a knight chess piece facing dexter Sable superimposed by a key fesswise ward to sinister of the fourth, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "34TH INTELLIGENCE SQ" in Yellow letters.


Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The dragon symbolizes the unit's unwavering resolve to protect its home and to attack those who would threaten it. The shield with knight chess piece and key (traditional symbols of the intelligence mission) represents the Squadron's mission to defend the Nation. The sword alludes to the unit's ability to strike offensively at the Nation's enemies.
