Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a dragon in sinister salient and expanded Vert winged Or garnished Sable armed Silver Gray dented Gules, in dexter chief a flight symbol rising bendwise sinister of the fifth and at fess point three lightning flashes radiating to dexter Yellow, all within a diminished border Black.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "607th ACOMS" in Black letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "LINKING THE POWER" in Black letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The dragon represents the Squadron's ability to direct combat power through command, control, communications and computer functions. The lightning bolts symbolize the unit's ability to electronically translate a commander's will into directives to strike an enemy through command, control, communications and computer functions. The stylized aircraft represents the striking power of Seventh Air Force fighter aircraft.
