Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, issuant from sinister base and tilted to dexter a demi-globe Vert, gridlined of the field, overall a bald eagle Proper, grasping two lightning bolts in saltire Gules, each emitting a mullet and between the eagle's wings a larger mullet Or, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "STRENGTH THROUGH INFORMATION" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "603D ACOMS" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The eagle represents the unit's involvement in support of air operations and campaigns. The lightning bolts denote the unit's primary communication mission and the rapid speed at which it travels. The globe represents the world wide support the unit provides. The stars represent the highest quality of unit personnel.
