Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a cog wheel throughout Argent (Silver Gray) bearing a terrestrial globe of the first, landmasses Vert encircled by three orbital rings, fesswise, bendwise sinister and bendwise Or with the bendwise ring ending in a flight symbol Sable and all bearing a mullet White on the North American landmass, all within a narrow border Blue.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed "559TH COMBAT SUSTAINMENT SQ" in Blue letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The globe, orbital rings and flight symbol represent the unit's mission of supplying materiel to customers deployed around the world. The star symbolizes the single point of contact center in North America. The divided background represents the unit's round-the-clock, 24/7 operation. The cog wheel stands for the materiel distributed by the unit.
