Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, emerging from sinister a silhouette of a dragon detailed Gules and Tenné, claws and eye Or, breathing fire upon a sun in splendor Proper, edged of the second, charged upon a globe of the first gridlined of the fourth, above and to dexter arcing along the dragon's wing thee mullets Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Black scroll edged with a narrow Orange border and inscribed "FIERCE GLOBAL DILIGENCE" in Orange letters.

Attached below the disc, a Black scroll edged with a narrow Orange border and inscribed "61ST FORCE SUPPORT SQUADRON" in Orange letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The dragon symbolizes transformation of strength and a union of manpower and the unit's service personnel working together as one to provide a fierce force support team. The gridlined globe represents the Squadron's obligation to secure our nation's freedom and diligence. The flames surrounding the globe signify a shield of protection. The three yellow stars represent the Air Force values of Integrity First, Service Before Self and Excellence in All the Unit Does.
