Description/Blazon

On a disc per pale Celeste and Azure, two keys in saltire Or, in chief a triangle of the second, charged with six mullets Argent, one, two, and three, all encircled by two olive branches with stems overlapped in base of the third, all within a narrow bordure Yellow.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "55TH FORCE SUPPORT SQUADRON" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The folded flag represents the support the Squadron provides to military families. The crossed keys represent the two key hospitality functions of food and lodging operations of the Squadron. The divided background represents this support is around the clock but also from their beginning to the end. The crossed olive branches represent the maintaining of peace through military vigilance.
