Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The griffin is the lion and eagle combined and represents strength through boldness, courage and superior military leadership. The red griffin symbolizes a warrior and guardian and represents military strength and magnanimity. The terrestrial globe represents the unit's ability to deploy worldwide at any time with unrivaled global reach. The Latin motto, "AUT VIAM INVENIAM AUT FACIAM" translates to "I WILL FIND A WAY OR MAKE ONE" in English.
