Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a stylized aircraft in bend Argent surmounted by a flaming sword palewise point to chief Or, hilt detailed Gold Brown and flames Gules and of the third, in dexter a mullet of the like, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "ETERNAL VIGILANCE" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "379 ESFS" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The stylized aircraft represents the aircraft of the future. The flaming sword symbolizes security and protection. The star represents space, the realm of the aircraft of the future. The primary responsibility of the unit is the security of personnel and protection level resources on the base from those who would seek to impede or destroy such elements, which are essential to protect the country's freedom and way of life. All elements combined symbolize the motto, "Eternal Vigilance."
