Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a mullet of six throughout Argent, surmounted by a column in base Silver Gray beneath a winged caduceus, staff Sable, wings Or and snakes Buff, all within a diminished bordure of the fourth.

Attached above the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "97TH MEDICAL SUPPORT SQ" in Black letters.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "CORROBORO PER STATUMEN" in Black letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The column represents the Squadron's medical support to its parent unit. The winged caduceus symbolizes the medical profession. The snakes allude to the care and professionalism rendered by Squadron personnel. The star represents the six different aspects of support provided by the unit.
