Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The beast embodies the entire logistics process, supporting higher headquarters' missions towards development, testing and deployment of air power to the Air Force. Each of the six talons represents a discipline within the organization independently working towards a common goal. The disciplines are distribution, fuels, management and systems, readiness, traffic management and vehicle management. The motto, "ALWAYS READY," emphasizes the Squadron's constant state of readiness in support of the Air Force mission.
