Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a pile reversed and rebated per bend Or, surmounted by a parchment scroll per fess Argent with quill poised as if to write per bend sinister Silver Gray between two laurel branches Vert, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "WE GET IT DONE" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "88 CONTRACTING SQ" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The scroll, with a quill poised to write, symbolizes the mission of the unit, which is to provide the best contracting products and service at the best price and in the timeliest manner. The laurel wreath represents excellence in service. The ray represents contracting wisdom and the expertise of the unit.
