On a disc Azure a flight symbol ascending palewise Gules surmounted by a winged staff of Aesculapius Argent garnished Sable all above and between in base ten mullets in base arcing to chief Or, all within a narrow border Blue.

Attached below the disc, a White scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed "82D MEDICAL SUPPORT SQ" in Blue letters.


Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The flight symbol denotes the application of air power, the primary mission of the Air Force. The winged staff of Aesculapius symbolizes the medical profession. The ten stars represent the numerous specialties that are functions of the Squadron.
