Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, an Ionic column Argent, fluted and detailed Sable, issuing from base and supporting a globe tilted bendwise Vert, gridlined of the third, encircled by an orbit spiraling downward and widening Or, terminating in front of the column at a stylized aircraft descending bendwise sinister to dexter base Gules, all within a narrow border Black.

Attached above the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "PROUD TO SERVE READY TO FIGHT" in Black letters.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "65TH CIVIL ENGINEER SQ" in Black letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The column is a sign of architectural strength and support. The globe signifies the worldwide scope of the unit's mission. The flight symbol and contrail orbiting the globe symbolize the environmental elements that are managed to ensure the success of the mission.
