Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a sun rayed of eight throughout Or, two rays in dexter base surmounted by a mountain formation issuant from dexter base Gules, edged and detailed Sable, all within a narrow border Black.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "57 CMS" in Black letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The mountain profile signifies the spirit within the Squadron as they welcome daily challenges formidable as this lofty peak. The sun also represents the importance of beginning each day with a fresh outlook and positive attitude.
