Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The lightning bolts represent the many areas of United States Air Force Aggressor expertise and the clenched fist signifies the role of the ATSS in boldly and synergistically drawing these capabilities together into one synchronized effort. The star is a traditional symbol for adversary forces and represents the ATSS charge to bring together all ATG capabilities and provide the CAF with a comprehensive expertise of worldwide adversary tactics. The outer border of the star represents the sky, the primary medium in which the unit operates and trains the Blue Forces. Its placement around the edge of the star symbolizes the aggressor charge to completely comprehend unit adversaries and encompass their capabilities in the unit's training. The motto, "Cognitio Repraesento Erudio," refers to the Aggressor Mission to analyze, replicate and teach.
