Description/Blazon

On a disc Sable, a representation of the constellation Orion outlined and detailed Argent, star positions marked by bezants, in dexter three mullets of six points couched in chevron Or, all within a narrow border Silver Gray.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Silver Gray border and inscribed "ORIONS" in Silver Gray letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Silver Gray border and inscribed "34TH STUDENT SQUADRON" in Silver Gray letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The background of the emblem signifies the vastness of space. The constellation Orion "The Hunter" denotes the unit's warrior spirit. The three six-point stars symbolize the unit's three core values and six distinctive competencies.
