Description/Blazon

On a disc per bend nebule Or and Azure, overall issuing from base a pair of stylized hands Gules, supporting a globe Celeste gridlined Argent, all within a narrow border of the second.

Attached above the disc, a White scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed "PEOPLE ARE OUR MISSION" in Blue letters.

Attached below the disc, a White scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed "31ST FORCE SUPPORT SQ" in Blue letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The globe symbolizes today's Expeditionary Air Force as a global force. The hands supporting the globe signify support of people, services and facilities. The nebule represents the joining together to provide support to every member of the armed forces.
