Description/Blazon

On a disc per bend nebuly Or and Azure, a Wyvern wings endorsed Sable, eyed Gules, dented Argent, incensed of the fourth, all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "DOMINANT AND EXPEDITIONARY" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "31ST AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SQ" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The nebuly background symbolizes the unit's tie to the parent wing. The black Wyvern describes the might and determination in support of the mission. The flame emitted from the Wyvern signifies the weapons and combat capability made possible by the unit's efforts, and the eye indicates the focus on the mission.
