Description/Blazon

Per pale nebuly Or and Azure a bulldog caboshed Gray detailed and collared with spikes Sable, eyed and armed Argent, clinching in its jaws a key, ward to sinister fesswise Yellow, all within a diminished bordure Black.

Attached above the shield a yellow scroll inscribed "28TH SUPPLY SQ" in Black letters, border Black.

Attached below the shield a Yellow scroll inscribed "JUNKYARD DAWGS" in Black letters, border Black.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The bulldog suggests the Squadron's aggressive and persistent nature in obtaining materials in support of the wing mission. The key represents supply logistics.
