Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a Brown scroll bendwise and a sword Or, grip Gules saltirewise in chief above an eagle affronté stooping Proper, all within a diminished bordure Black.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed 28TH CONS in Black letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine Blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The hovering eagle suggests the Squadron's global reach capability in support of its customers and its response to contractual needs worldwide. The scroll represents the unit's involvement pertaining to binding contracts between the government and contractors. The sword symbolizes honor, excellence and defense.
