Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, a cross couped Gules, between two lightning flashes in pile Argent, in chief a polestar Or, faceted and garnished Sable, all within a narrow bordure Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "INTEGRITY SERVICE EXCELLENCE" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "10TH MEDICAL OPERATIONS SQ" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The red cross represents the blood of life, the passion and opportunity to serve and is an international symbol of medical care. The Polaris star represents the guiding light of core values and development. The lightning flashes symbolize excellence in care giving to patients worldwide.
