Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, an aerial bomb bendwise sinister dropping to dexter Vert, marked with a band around the nose Or, surmounted by a large scorpion astride the middle of the bomb Gules, eyed of four Sable, grasping in dexter claw a lightning flash palewise Yellow and in sinister claw a wrench bendwise Proper (Silver Gray), all within a narrow border Scarlet.

Attached above the disc, a Silver Gray scroll edged with a narrow Red border and inscribed ?NATURA NOSTRA" in Red letters.

Attached below the disc, a Silver Gray scroll edged with a narrow Red border and inscribed "7Th AMXS" in Red letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The bomb indicates the unit's mission. The scorpion symbolizes the tenacity of unit personnel; it holds a wrench, the symbol of maintenance disciplines. The lightning flash demonstrates the power to make things happen.
