Description/Blazon

On a disc as a globe Azure, gridlined and bearing a torch to dexter Or, enflamed forched Gules, garnished in its center with a Yellow lightning bolt and issuing from sinister an American bald eagle volant Proper, its wings increscent Sable, detailed Argent, all within a diminished border Blue.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Blue border and inscribed "4TH SERVICES SQUADRON" in Blue letters


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The globe refers to the worldwide scope of the unit's mission. The eagle symbolizes the unit's professionalism, patriotism and discipline. The torch signifies leadership, pride and commitment, while the lightning flash within the flame describes readiness and quick response.
