Description/Blazon

On a disc as a globe axis palewise Celeste, gridlined Azure, a vol Or garnished Bronze and surmounted by a flight symbol palewise point to chief Gules, Argent and Azure, issuing three contrails of the like, one arcing to dexter, one palewise and a third arcing to sinister throughout; all within a narrow border Yellow.

Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "MOVING THE WING" in Yellow letters.

Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed "4TH LRS" in Yellow letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The globe alludes to the Squadron's theater of operations with the wings denoting the Air Force operations. The tri-colored flight symbol and contrails are representative of the Squadron's pride, perseverance and ability to implement logistics planning and functions of supply and transportation.
