Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The bald eagle is a national symbol and here depicts air power. In its claws are a bomb and a flight symbol significant of the units supported by the Squadron. The fleur-de-lis in chief shows the unit's commitment to providing mission capable aircraft whenever and wherever needed.
