Description/Blazon

On a disc Azure, below a crystal ball Sable, highlighted Argent, charged with a sword bendwise point up between a field strewed decrescents and bezants all Or, a dexter hand palm up issuant from sinister base buff, sleeved of the second, embellished with a field strewed decrescents and bezants all of the fourth, cuffed Gules; all within a narrow border Black.

Attached below the disc, a Yellow scroll edged with a narrow Black border and inscribed "92D MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS SQ" in Black letters.


Symbolism

Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The crystal ball represents proficiency in predicting, forecasting and analyzing events through a grip of the mastery of knowledge. The sword represents the support the unit provides to the Wing and its fighting forces. The hand is representative of the supportive teamwork of the Squadron members.
